Terms of Service & Refund Policy
These terms cover your use of 4QLS.com and the courses on it. 4QLS (the 4 Quarter Learning System) is operated by James Dethwick (“4QLS”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a course, you agree to these terms.
Refund policy
We want you to be happy with your course. You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as you’ve completed less than 25% of the course’s lessons.
- How to ask: email jdethwick@me.com from the email on your account, with the course name. No long explanation needed.
- How it’s paid back: refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- After a refund: your access to that course ends.
- Requests made after 14 days, or after 25% or more of the lessons are completed, aren’t eligible, except where the law requires a refund or something went wrong on our side (for example, a duplicate charge or a course you couldn’t access). In those cases, contact us and we’ll make it right.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We answer quickly and it’s the fastest way to get your money back. Filing a chargeback for a purchase you received may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is open.
Your account
- You need a confirmed email address to sign in. Keep your password private; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Accounts are for one person. Please don’t share your login or course access.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms, abuse the site, or appear to be automated.
Buying courses
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Sales tax may be added at checkout where it applies.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your purchase gives you personal access to the course for as long as it’s offered on 4QLS. If we ever retire a course, we’ll give enrolled students at least 30 days’ notice.
- Course content may be updated over time, for example when Microsoft changes an exam.
Course content and use
- All videos, slides, simulations, quizzes and materials belong to 4QLS and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning.
- Please don’t download, record, copy, resell, or share course materials, or post them publicly.
Exams and certifications
4QLS is an independent training provider. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Microsoft, Azure and related exam names are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Our courses are designed to help you prepare, but we can’t guarantee you’ll pass any exam. Exam fees, scheduling and results are handled by the exam provider.
Disclaimers
Courses are provided “as is” for educational purposes. Hands-on exercises are done at your own discretion; if you use your own cloud subscription, any charges from your cloud provider are your responsibility. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a course is limited to the amount you paid for that course.
Privacy
We use your name and email to run your account, deliver your courses, track your progress, and send account emails. We only send newsletters if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We don’t sell your personal information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes won’t reduce the refund rights for a purchase you’ve already made.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
